Overview: Opportunity to work in an exciting start-up Alef Mobitech, Alef's Mobile Internet Operating System combines multiple distributed computing approaches, software-defined mobility networking and an enablement environment where functions and services can inter-operate dynamically, bringing fluidity to the Radio Edge. Currently, we are in business engagements with a leading mobile network provider, with several other customer engagements lined up. Purpose: The purpose of this position is to have a network specialist who takes complete ownership of the successful deployment of workable Alef solution within operator network. Position Responsibilities - Work with Operator planning, transmission, core network teams to position Alef solution architecture along with Network architecture - Responsible for overall Alef network planning solution including network integration architecture - Responsible for HLD/LLD preparation, concluding the discussions and get approvals on the same. - Work closely with operator network teams to understand potential changes being made to the networks with respect to technology and document the understanding of it will impact Alef solution. - Work closely with CTO and R&D organisations on the next generation network architecture and help with solutions to key network problems that may arise from time to time. - Responsible for successful completion of security audits during the project stage. - Integration & Commissioning and testing of 3G & LTE PP interfaces, Gx, Gn, Li, Ga, Gi, Gy & X1 - Carrying out Functional Testing, Revenue Assurance Testing, & User Acceptance testing - Ensure functionality of all test cases, and troubleshoot and isolate any faults encountered - Planning and Execution of Major changes in Network - Configuration of L3 switches, OSPF & BGP troubleshooting, VRF creation Technical Qualifications - Candidate must understand the principles of end-to- end system architecture & design principles of Packet Core Networks ( GPRS, EDGE, 3G, LTE- PCRF, PCEF, OCS, PGW) - Strong knowledge in IP routing and switching is required. - Must have deployment background with standard 3G & LTE PP based telecom interfaces, Gx, Gy, Gn, LI, X1, Ga and protocols like RADIUS/DIAMETER/GTP/TCP/IP/SNMP - Strong knowledge in IP internetworking including routing protocols BGP, RIP,- OSPF, LAN Switching, MPLS, IP Subnetting and security. - Hand-on experience on the Layer3 switch and routers. - Understanding of Internet applications and Protocol, Traffic management - Excellent working knowledge of Linux along with storage and various cluster file systems. Other Qualifications - Strong passion for and knowledge of technology, emerging media and the Internet - Reasonable Understanding of mobile network providers, app ecosystem, cloud, enterprise mobility, social and analytics functions - Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking, tight deadlines environment - Ability to thrive in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment - Willingness to travel Soft Skills - Committed, Self-motivated, proactive, positive attitude, team player, good listener, good documentation and strong communication skills- Job Location: - Mumbai Qualification - B.Tech/B.E in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, IT.
