Aldrich Capital Partners - Project Manager

Aldrich Capital Partners LLC, founded in 2014, is a Washington, D.C. - based private equity fund manager focused on investing in lower middle-market companies. Aldrich Capital Partners (- ACP- ) was formed by experienced investors and operators who are successful entrepreneurs. Responsibilities:

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with higher management as well as team members

- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget

- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

- Able to support team on solutions during development, so we need people with technical skills

- Ensure resource availability and allocation

- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

- Perform risk management to minimize project risks (i.e. Identify and raise risks to supervisors on time at a different level and phases of project development)

- The key responsibility is managing the team and play the role of SCRUM Master and provide technical support whenever needed

Requirements and Skill Set -

- 10+ years of experience

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required

- Expertise with Agile Scrum methodologies

- Experience in Java, Spring Framework, Web services is a plus

- Having experience in NoSQL DB or MySQL is a plus

- Good experience in software development life cycle

- Experience with Java architecture and design. Able to participate in solutions and help team members

- Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions

- Proven working experience in project management

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel

- Candidate must have an innovator's mindset to research, introduce and train team members in new technological features so that timely inclusion of new ideas/technologies can be planned in an effective manner

- The person should have good people management skills along with good reporting & Analytical skills
