Alcon - Senior Executive - Finance (5-6 yrs)
Job Purpose :
This position will perform and oversee activities relating to Credit Management in Accounts Receivable of the Organization to ensure DSO are within acceptable limits. This position has prime responsibilities of Credit Control and Credit Management, monitoring customer ageing, DSO for operations pertaining to Surgical, Contact Lens, Technical Service and DE&OH. This role has to interface with sales teams on ongoing basis to ensure adequate support is given for sales delivery within the company's credit framework
Major Accountabilities :
a. Credit Control and Management :
- Set-up credit terms for customers - Credit limits and credit days
- Monitor, Control and oversee activities of Sales Order Release
- Periodical discussion with internal stakeholders on Credit status and highlight to management on AR risk
- Oversee generation of Ageing report and connect with internal stakeholders for payments from customers
- DSO Management
- Working Capital Management and monitor cash flows
- Release and discuss periodical AR MIS reports and discuss with internal stakeholders
- Handle Statutory, Internal, Tax and Process Audits as required
b. Collection Accounting and confirmations :
- Oversee collections are accounted and establish financial controls of receipts
- Liaison with Banks relating to Collections
- Plan and obtain customer balance confirmations
c. NFCM :
- Ensure adherence to Alcon financial control framework for all customer, credit control and AR related control activities
- Ensure maturity rating of ML3
d. General :
- Manage escalations and engage the appropriate Management team members for participation as needed.
- Manage around 3 Associates (Offroll)
- Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative).
- Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs by self and team
