The Process Improvement Specialist reports into the Data & Analytics Manager and is part of a global and multicultural team of analysts operating from various locations. His/her role is primarily to support the Performance Optimization Manager enabling the central Global Business Services (GBS) organization and Global Process Delivery Leads (GPDLs) to drive standardization and compliance of the end-to end global processes. More specifically, the analyst will mainly take an active role in process mining for Procure-to-Pay (P2P)/ Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, to understand transaction-level details, bring visibility to process deviation and evaluate business value of opportunities for improvement and/or standardization; effectively providing analytical support and expertise to multiple stakeholders such as the GPOs, GPDLs, Service Management lead, and CI managers. Over time, the Analyst will gain deep understanding of the process and business analysis, decision process and broad knowledge of a GBS organization which will position him/her ideally for other roles (e.g. Process manager/champion, continuous improvement expert, Performance optimization manager or BPM manager). Responsibilities Provide insights based on Process Mining - - Liaise with stakeholders to understand business priorities and objectives; - Identify process deviations, gaps and improvement opportunities based on mining of transaction-level data; - Support with analytical evaluation of process standardization opportunities; - Lead analysis and assess business case value for the identified opportunities; - Be part of driving actions and resolution of action plans to address issues identified; - Support in creation of new cockpit / dashboards within Celonis to support business and decision making and adherence to compliance; - Support in development of process data reporting and analytics to provide process-level insights and improvements, notably bringing transparency on process compliance. Provide various GBS stakeholders with analytical expertise: - Support continual process maturity improvement and standardization initiatives. Identify, gather, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data-sets; - Review process performance on key process indicator and support necessary changes to improve process performance; - Identify cost saving opportunity and support transformation programs; - Be the point of contact within on a specific process domain, being able to (help) answer queries related to the domain. Job Requirements - Bachelor or master's degree preferably in Finance, Business or related area - 2 to 5 years work experience in P2P/O2C process analytical roles in a global or multinational environment - Ability to work with a cross regional, multicultural and virtual team - Extensive number literacy and financial acumen - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills - Experience with Celonis - process mining tool a plus - Structured way of working and at ease with processes - Ability to influence and convince direct stakeholder through analysis - Basic understanding of project and change management - Experience in continuous improvement methodologies is a plus - Previous experience with GBS organization a plus - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle pressure - Impeccable work ethics - Potential to operate in complex global structure - Limited travel
