Assistant Manager Aircraft Financing - Akasa Air

Job Position :

- Summary Strives to ensure timely completion of Aircraft lease agreements, by efficient coordination with the aircraft financiers / lessors and internal stakeholders

- Strives to ensure compliances with respect to lease management tasks such calculation of maintenance reserves, cost analysis, tracking timely payments, LC etc.

- Analysis and management reporting of lease performance including cash flows, costs incurred, cost reduction initiatives.

Key responsibilities :

Aircraft Leasing: Support aircraft leasing and lease management initiatives, which will inter alia, include:

- To drive the closure of Aircraft lease agreements, by being hands-on on the open issues and suggesting viable solutions

- Building models for evaluation of leasing proposals

- Perform cost benefit analysis for various initiatives and create presentations, management reports and notes for approvals

- Being hands-on with the progress and performance of the leases assigned and to highlight any deviation and discrepancies.

- To keep track of rent payment, MR payments, engine and maintenance issues for the assigned leases

- Calculation for MR reserves and its reconciliation with the lessors

- Co-ordination between engineering, legal, finance and insurance for timely payments, compliances

- Liaising with aircraft financiers and lessors for any other matters related to their assigned leases

Desired Qualification / certifications :

- MBA from IIMs or other Tier I Institutes And / or

- Chartered Accountant, preferably Rank holders and having work-experience with Big 4

- CA/CFA

Preferred relevant work experience :

- 4-5 years of work experience in leasing or structured finance or investment banking

- Exposure to financial transactions or commercial contracts

- Good team player
