Description - 1. Vendor development for all packaging material. 2. Extensive study and bench marking report of competitor brands across product categories. 3. Generating new packaging products in response to briefs. 4. Ensuring that packaging products meet set requirements and specifications. 5. Producing samples to try out different materials and designs. 6. Liaising with marketing, purchasing and production staff. 7. Running trials to check packaging for suitability and testing for performance under various conditions. 8. Controlling production and quality standards. 9. Evaluating, selecting and negotiating with suppliers. 10. Preparing specifications for packaging material and Bill of Material for all products. 11. Analyzing and determining all standards for packaging and ensure compliance to all Schedules for processes and develop and maintain all packing orders effectively. 12. Coordinating with Quality department to monitor everyday activities and ensure continuous improvement in same. Requirements -&nbsp; 1. Masters Degree in packaging is an added advantage. 2. Graduation is compulsory. 3. 3 to 4 years of experience in relevant field. 4. Must have good contacts in the market for procurement of various primary and secondary packaging material. 5. Ability to communicate effectively with people throughout the organization. 6. Strong interpersonal and listening skills. 7. Motivation to constantly learn and develop the own knowledge and skills. 8. Attention to details and good working knowledge of Power-Point and Excel.
