JOB DESCRIPTION - 

- Responsible for contributing to the development of campaigns (brand focused and tactical branding) that focus on AJIO the brand and AJIO the Platform, while simultaneously meeting business goals.

- Lead and partner with an internal creative (Art Directors /Copy Writers/content/social) team to achieve this goal, but be primarily self-sufficient.

- Liaise with external creative partners ( Agency on record, studio, directors) to ensure end to end execution of ideas and campaigns. Ensure briefs are as detailed as possible.

As the CD is both a director and a maker, this role requires an expertise in either copywriting or design, but with a competency and point of view of the other modality.

Additionally, the CD must be able to provide direct feedback when working with motion and narrative content, technology, media, and strategy.

- Investigate data to generate insights based on observed customer shopping behaviour. And, recommend a campaign framework that balances business goals with customers- expectations of frictionless commerce.

- Partnering with Sales, Product specialists, Campaign Management and Technology teams, the CD will act as the creative hub, ensuring that the concept remains intact, and that the customer experience is protected at all times.

- Use data to develop hypotheses about why certain customer behaviours exist. Use those to generate powerful insights that drive your campaign ideas

- Understand the metrics that measure the success of your campaigns, and the levers that affect them

- Invent and Simplify. Develop campaign ideas from the bottom up, not top down.

- Think: solutions first, not stunts

- Create campaigns that balance brand goals with customer motivations

- Participate in the development of solutions that help customers make better, faster purchase decisions on AJIO

3.Think Big

- Create SMART goals that deliver against team-wide objectives. Determine the priorities and prescribe the processes needed to achieve these goals

- Don't make advertising; create work that has an impact, and which elevates us

- Develop and foster ideas that are novel- and which are uniquely AJIOian

- Insist on the Highest Standards & Be Customer Obsessed

- Make work that matters by putting yourself in the customer's shoes; if you wouldn- t read/watch/use/share your campaign, they won- t either

- Ensure flawless execution, from exquisite design, to on-time, error-free delivery

4. Take Ownership

- From concept to execution, know the steps, and policies of the products you deploy

- Solve problems when you can, only escalate when you can't

- Know that you will wear many hats, and be comfortable moving freely between creative ideation, production, project management, and mentorship

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Self-starter

2. Experience as a Creative Director at either agency or advertiser

3. Experience as a Strategic Planner, Copywriter, or Art Director at either agency or advertiser

4. Data-driven and obsessed with measurable impact of a campaign

5. Excellent presentation skills and interactive storytelling ability

6. With strong portfolio which demonstrates account/campaign planning, creative direction, visual design skills, and interactive/digital advertising experiences

7. Strong desire to invent and establish better services and processes

8. Strong people management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Award-winning

- 12-15 years or more experience in creative/advertising (digital a plus)

- Experience in retail e-comm business /fashion and/or marketing a must
