Must have product management experience with a large-scale consumer appliance/consumer durable firm.
Job Description: The position holder will be responsible for the entire product management including topline & bottom-line performance of the specific product category.
KRAs :
1. P/L Management
- Achieving revenue and profitability targets
- Achieving target market share in focus segments
- Achieving model mix targets
2. Product Marketing Plan, Strategy & Sales Support
- New product launch planning & execution
- Developing training modules for new products & imparting training to the sales team and key system integrators and distribution partners
- Planning & execution along with the Marcom team for retail visibility of focus segment monitors
- Planning Marcom requirements in consultation with Marcom and ensuring timely availability
3. Product Pricing
- Competition Price Trend Analysis and benchmarking
- Preparing and managing monthly and quarterly schemes
- Preparing & releasing monthly price Lists
4. Co-ordination
- Closely working with Business Heads for India business
- Managing weekly and monthly reporting to the Management within set deadlines
- Ensuring alignment of business objectives locally with global focus areas
5. Competition Information
- Weekly tracking and benchmarking of competition and their sales
- Bi-weekly tracking of competition channels & business volumes location wise
6. Managing Rolling Forecast
- Timely submission of 4 months' rolling forecast as per monthly budget & business plan
- Ensuring forecast hit rate as per the guidelines
7. Key Accounts Management
- Managing key B2B accounts, especially for high-end product models
8. Product Planning
- To prepare an accurate demand forecast location-wise and ensure timely stock availability at locations as per the plans
9. Inventory Management
- Planning & execution of aging inventory liquidation
- Allocating stock at branches as per sales forecast
