Job Profile


- Maintain financial reporting processes as per relevant accounting standards & corporate laws

- Preparation and & finalization of financial results & other MIS Reports

- Preparation of annual financial budget for the company by distribution/sales depots and retail centers, monthly comparison with actuals, variance analysis with justification

- Resolve the statutory & internal auditors queries / observations

Funds Management

- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs

- Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements

- Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings.

- Maintain banking relationships

- Assist in determining the company's proper capital structure

- Arrange for equity and debt financing

Financial Management/ Analysis

- Capital and operational budgeting with COO to facilitate control over operations

- Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company

- Review the performance of competitors and report on key issues to management

- Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement

- Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities

- Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput


- Manage the preparation of the company's budget

- Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances

- Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction

Statutory Compliances

- Compliance to the provisions of all applicable statutory acts

- To get assessment done for direct and indirect Taxes

Managing Receivables & Payments

- To monitor collections vs budget and enforce appropriate checks and controls

- To regulate & monitor critical payments

- Maintain control over region-wise debtor's accounts, debtor's ageing and their reconciliation issuance & approval of credit notes accordingly

- Monitoring credit policy, credit terms, sales return, collections vs. budget and enforce appropriate checks and controls etc.
