About the Team:

- The Platform and Product Analytics team is looking for a Senior Lead Analyst to join it's Bangalore/Gurgaon team. The team is mainly focused on Customer personalisation, Search, Data Platform, Revenue and Subscription part of the whole Airtel digital ecosystem.

- As a Senior Lead analyst, you will be expected to lead all the pods within the team and will be responsible for generating data-driven insights & recommendations to help product managers in meticulous decision-making.

- The candidate will take end-to-end ownership of key metrics aligned with his/her POD, work with respective product/growth owners to understand areas we need to measure what and how and ensure the needle is moving in the right direction.

Responsibilities:

- Develop an in-depth understanding of user journeys on Airtel Digital Channels and generate data-driven insights & recommendations to help product business in meticulous decision making.

- End-to-end ownership of key metrics, work with respective product owners to understand areas we need to measure and ensure the needle is moving in the right direction.

- Develop strong hypothesis, execute A/B experiments and identify area of opportunities with strong confidence level.

- Work cross-functionally to define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models and make recommendations.

- Identify and implement streamlined processes for data reporting, dashboarding and communication.

- Collaborate with Product for data tracking and implementation of tools like Clickstream, Google analytics, Branch, Moengage etc.

Qualifications And Skills Requirements:

- B.Tech/BE degree in Computer Science/related technical field or Statistics/Operations Research background.

- 8+ years of experience in core business analytics/product analytics.

- Deep understanding of SQL, Python/R. Extensive hands-on with these tools, and experience working on large datasets is a must.

- Excellent with data visualisation and a strong understanding of Tableau, and Superset.

- Strong problem-solving skills and should be able to engage senior management with data.

- Experience with data structures, ETL pipelines & feature modeling. Ability to effectively manage and communicate data mart plans to internal customers. Hands-on with Airflow.

- Effective communication skills and experience working across multiple teams will be a plus (data engineering, data analytics, product squads)
