Purpose of the Job - Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter. - Sound Financial Accounting knowledge. The Jobholder should have knowledge of financial reporting. - Conduct review of the accounting operations and ensure robust internal control over financial reporting. - Preparation of financial statement for statutory reporting (IGAAP and IND AS as per Banking Regulation Act). - Control Core Banking Solution (CBS) from financial perspective and liase with Technology and other department to ensure that new product development are adequately build in CBS. - Should have good presentation skill in terms of preparation of management presentation (PowerPoint). - As this is an evolving job, the jobholder should show willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the Bank grows and with changing expectation from the Regulator and the organization. Deliverables - Financial reporting and review of financial work performed by Banking Ops and Airtel Shared Services team. - Ensure control environment in CBS and financial process set up for new product. - Ensure Internal Control over financial reporting in the Bank and review of controls followed by other verticals of finance (shared services) and Banking Ops. - Maintain relationships and communication with Internal / External Audit and other stakeholders. Major Challenges : - Ensure control over Core Banking Solution from financial perspective and robust control over financial reporting . Decision level Prime: 1) Accounting and Trial Balance related activities 2) Audit Closure, Statutory Compliance and management reporting. 3) Control CBS and ICOFR. Shared: Working closely with Finance Controller, BPA Head etc on various projects and day to day activities. Contributory: Internal control and processes. Demonstrate (Key competencies) - Well versed with accounting principles, standards (IFRS, IGAAP, IND AS) and Banking Regulations. - Proficient in using Microsoft Offices Software specially power point presentation. - High level of proficiency in Core Banking Solution - Knowledge of RBI guidelines. - Good interpersonal skills. Educational Level Must have: Chartered Accountant
