Lead - Regulatory (Senior Manager) Purpose of the Job: The purpose of the role is to ensure effective compliance of the DoT's licensing conditions and to drive policy issues impacting Airtel's telecom business. Key Deliverable: 1. Monitor the policy environment for issues that interest and impact Airtel 2. Draft responses to policy papers and representations on ongoing issues 3. Opine on any new regulatory pronouncement or change and its potential impact on the organization and industry 4. This role would liaise with external stakeholders (COAI, DoT etc.) periodically for driving the compliances and policy issues 5. Advise the product, network and information security teams on relevant regulations/ compliances 6. Demonstrate deep understanding of DoT licensing conditions 7. Drive compliances and robust processes w.r.t. network, information security, supply chain and other business verticals 8. Creation of detailed compliance interfaces. Skills Required: 1. Good knowledge of DoT licensing conditions 2. Understanding of Policy issues 3. Basic understanding of telecom networks, security conditions and upcoming technologies 4. Ability to manage stakeholders and build effective relationships 5. Strong analytical skills 6. Excellent written and oral communications skills with an ability to communicate with senior officials. Qualification : 1. Graduation (preferably Engineering Degree in Telecom) 2. MBA (will be an added advantage but not mandatory)
