Purpose of the Job :

1. Facilitate the Organization in transitioning from Talent Retention to Talent Management, linking the culture of the Organization to Business needs.

2. Build a business focused learning and development platform for employees to increase their value proposition and enable them to innovate and grow.

3. Lead employee engagement for better retention and productivity

4. Sustain culture and values of Airtel

Key Deliverables :

1. Lead the performance management cycle (PMS) right from KRA setting, performance and leadership competency review, normalization and increment and promotion cycle.

2. Design and execute the employee engagement framework in line with Gallup engagement survey results

3. Lead the OTR for the function, facilitate Development action plan creation, facilitate the execution of DAP and manage the succession planning for critical positions

4. Build a culture of Reward and Recognition in the Organization, with adequate controls in place. Follow guidelines and use innovative ways for assimilation of AIR values in the organization

5. Lead the Learning and development need identification and plan for the fulfillment of the same for the function.

Major Challenges :

1. Managing the ever growing expectations from the employees in terms of career advancements and growth path clarity

2. Attrition, leading to depletion of talent pool.

3. Development of niche skills in talent pool

4. Engagement scores

Qualification & Key skills/ competencies :

MBA/ PGDM in HRM, with 5 yrs+ years of relevant experience, and should demonstrate :

- Teamwork and collaboration

- Results orientation

- Analytical and problems Solving

- Networking and inter-personal skills

- Consulting and facilitation skills

- Ability to work with senior management
