Purpose of the job:

As a Brand Manager at Airtel you will create the communication of the most-spoken-about (read: Airtel 4G girl) solutions for Brand Airtel for - Multiple campaigns (you'll have at least a few campaigns running at any given point) Multiple channels (literally every possible communication channel that you think of) - with extra focus on app & digital (need of the hour) Multiple marketing verticals (from content to devices to pricing to offers... we've got it all!).

Responsibilities

- Unearth insights from primary & secondary sources.

- Be the voice of consumer logic.

- Ensure that research & direct consumer data is used to consistently sharpen communication

- Ensure total compliance with brand guidelines & processes for adherence across all channels

- Ensure management of timelines for campaign (ATL & BTL) development Management of workflows & timelines for the development of campaigns.

- Manage 3rd party vendors & ensure they are fully engaged on the business (e.g. agencies, film producers, photographers)

As a brand manager at Airtel:

- When you become a Brand Manager at Airtel, you become a Brand Manager of the zillion partners that we work with, spanning across multiple industries like Music, Video content, Handset brands, Online education, Insurance companies, etc. So 1 job, multiple exposure.

- What proposition should we launch next and for what consumer cohort - Well you- ll have a say in that! So if you have crazy ideas, we have a crazy-idea loving team!

- Make the communication come alive on all the possible channels that you can think of and that for 300 Mn users - SMS, App, Retail stores, General trade outlets (posters, banners and the lot), Digital media, Social media, Outdoors, Radio, Print, TV, 3 rd party apps, website.

- Work extensively with the app growth & internal design teams - the expectation is to setup industry benchmarks on communication for effective use of own channels (all the best!).

- Once in a lifetime opportunity to work on redefining the brand guidelines for online channels for a brand as big as Airtel - If you have a better CV point, well, won- t we like to know!

Qualifications

- MBA/PGDM.

- 2-5 years' consumer marketing experience - preferably worked on digital
