Air Freight Manager - Procurement & Support - Logistics Firm (10-15 yrs)
- Cultivate Carrier relations & performance management
- Regularly meet will all airline partners key stakeholders to develop, strengthen & effectively manage relations to our business advantage.
- Carry performance reviews to monitor, record & seek CAP/PAP in case of service failures.
- Achieve & maintain budgeted profit margins.
- Rate procurement & capacity planning. For both Short term (ad-hocs) & long term business.
- Establish short & long term working contracts or agreements with airlines/suppliers
- Following, achieving & Monitoring of Country Airfreight KPIs
- Core carrier program
- Work towards supporting global airline partners. Work towards achieving global incentive programs with required volume support ex India.
- RFQ/Tender management, Build up - quote to win- strategy to support new business opportunities generated by network & local sales.
- Effective & sellable product costing
- Toll Core Values, Policies, Guidelines, Procedures
- Engage network to support & jointly work towards annual AFR growth strategy document
- Support Sales to grow business
SOPs :
- Achieve & maintain budgeted profit margins.
- To develop & maintain the most competitive, healthy & sellable cost for complete airfreight product, make it visible through Global Intercompany Tariff (GAT) &/or with selected partner countries.
