Job Responsibilities

1. Understand & implement retail accounting system to build strong system controls.

2. Responsible for end to end accounting and periodic reporting of the chain of retail stores.

3. Interface with business teams and external retail partners to solve their queries.

4. Review and provide month end accruals for the retail business vertical.

5. Month end closure and reporting, Accounts payables and receivables of retail business vertical.

6. Review and finalise margin sharing to the franchise as per agreed commercials.

7. Responsible for the store assets management.

8. Liasoning with the internal auditors for the audits of the stores operations.

Key skills and personality traits: Must Have

1. Qualified CA with atleast 2 years of progressive accounting experience( Startups preferred)

2. Generally accepted accounting and auditing principles, practices & procedures.

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal guidance.

4. Hands on experience in transactional areas - AP/AR/Controlling.

5. Knowledge of ERP Systems (NAVISION preferable).

6. Knowledge of GST, Income Tax and TDS.

7. Proficiency in MS Excel.
