AgroStar - Associate Director - Last Mile Delivery

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly passionate, dynamic & young leader for the role of Lead - Last Mile Operations based at HO, Pune. Primary responsibility to manage and coordinate a team of 100+ (and growing fast) Delivery Partners across 5 States.

Key areas of responsibility:

- Managing the Last mile delivery operations cost and efficiency

- Building and expansion of delivery chain across state at district and taluka level.

- Manage & monitor performance of delivery partners

- Implement and build scalable & seamless processes

- Work closely with Technology for automated process & product development

- Manage P&L of the LMD vertical

This role will be based out of Pune

As an ideal - Agstar LMD Lead, you will need:

Requirements:

- 5-7 years experience in high volume operational setup, preferably in consumer businesses (eCommerce, Logistics). Startup experience will be a bonus.

- Engineering with full time MBA would be preferred. ( MBA from top or Tier 2 institute would be an added advantage).

- Should have handled geographically dispersed teams

- Desired personality traits of being a self-learner, collaborator, hustle and extra miler.

- Great attitude and fulfil promise to deliver solutions

- Strong presence of mind and assertive nature.

- Strong stakeholder management skills and be able to liaise with top management with ease.

- Balance priorities of managing and inspiring teams of people, projects of varying complexity, and the daily operations of the business while maintaining focus on the work that is most critical to success

- Ready to travel extensively
