Key Role Areas:

1. Setting objectives for the account receivable team that align with the Finance team & compliance goals.

2. Maintain & improve necessary updates/ tracking systems to maximize timely cash flow from courier partners.

3. Work closely with in-house collection team to resolve high ageing invoices.

4. Monthly MIS report closing

5. Work with Managers to determine the level of automation possible.

6. Establish and strengthen SOPs by identifying areas of improvement.

7. Act as a point of escalation within the finance team for sales document related compliance issues.

8. Coordinate, assign, audit and supervise work of the staff involved in:

(i) order processing documentation like sales order & invoices.

(ii) processing credit notes due to order cancelation & returns.

(iii) Managing GST compliance related to sales invoice & credit notes.

(iv) Customer refunds.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance; Master's is preferred.

2. 3+ years of relevant experience.

3. Knowledge of general accounting practices & GST.

4. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as a part of a team- must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.

5. Ability to utilize information from a wide variety of sources.

6. Experience of supervising executives in the past and ideally worked in an operations environment to deliver high quality outcomes and results.

7. Advance Excel skills is a must have, hands-on experience with Zoho books will be preferred.
