AGM/Senior Manager - Plant HR - FMCG/Manufacturing (8-15 yrs)

The accountabilities of this role will be under the following main areas:

- Talent Management

- Employee Relations

- Statutory compliance

- Business HR support

- HR Business Partnership

- HR Service Delivery

Relationships

- The role will report to the Director HR.

- Collaborate and work with Director Operations and Managing Director

- The role will have the external interface with the Labour authorities like the Labour commissioners, Factory Inspectors, and other labor law related statutory authorities and also Advocates and Counsels for legal matters.

Background and Skill :

- Professional qualification in Human Resources. Postgraduate degree or diploma in Human Resource Management / Personnel Management and industrial relations. Knowledge of labor laws is essential.

- Successful track record of performance plant HR manager/specialist role; at least 8-15 years of Human Resources / Employee Relations experience in a manufacturing facility

- Must have worked in the unionized factory environment and have managed industrial relations.

- Successful track record in the deployment of global HR business processes or programs

- Experience working in a fast-paced, service-oriented, highly matrixed environment

- Effective interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in the team environment. Strong commitment to collaborative work and knowledge sharing.

- Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and professionalism. Must be capable of developing & executing action plans

- Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills.

- Knowledge of employment laws and policies

- Knowledge of Plant, Factory, Labour Laws, Transportation, Canteen, Statutory, Contract Labour, Trade Unions, Pollutions Controls Board, Liasoning with Local Govt. Offices, Power, Labour Offices, Fire, Safety, HR Systems, Recruitment.
