Role: AGM/Senior Manager
Reporting to - Director Legal
Role and Responsibilities
- Extensively work with the businesses to develop/standard documents/templates like sales agreements, purchase orders, sourcing agreements, products facilitation agreements, franchise agreement, NDA, BG, other corporate and business documents.
- End to end review, negotiation and finalisation of various agreements by partnering with stakeholders from various businesses.
- Be part of the M&A, due diligence, and execution of transactional documents.
- Advise and resolve legal issues faced by various businesses on day-to-day basis within the given timelines.
- Have good knowledge of trademarks/copyrights registration, renewal, objections and protections against infringement/passing off.
- Identifying and applying for new licenses / permissions for all plants and other locations under FSSAI.
- Review of product labels to comply with FSSAI, IPR, and Legal Metrology.
- Ensure legal proceedings management under FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and any other statute as applicable.
- Have a flare for writing and legal research and advise business of legal and regulatory changes pertaining to the business.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- A degree in law, i.e., LLB or LLM
- 10 to 15 years of legal experience, preferably in Pharma or FMCG sector with solid in-house counsel experience in a diversified group.
- Knowledge of Marathi is preferred though not essential.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of IPR, FSSAI and Legal Metrology, rules, and regulations made thereunder.
- Able to handle multiple matters concurrently.
- Able to work in an agile, dynamic, and fast-paced environment and to meet critical deadlines.
- Able to work well both independently as well as a part of a team.
