AGM/Senior Manager - Industrial Automation - Chemicals Firm (10-15 yrs)
Job Description:
- Responsible for the Automation System Infrastructure Management and for providing Automation solutions to the facilities
- Implementation of quality automation control practices while providing engineering/technical help for projects and upon completion supporting Operations and Maintenance for the business
- The Role involves the creation and application of technology to monitor & or control the production and delivery of services to the clients in the business
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests
- Should have demonstrated ability in automation related to SCADA/PLCs and Control Systems, Process Measurement (Level, Pressure, Temperature, Flow, & Weighing), Motion, Variable Frequency Drive Systems, & Motors etc.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Automation System Infrastructure Management and Automation Industrial Hardware & Software
- Scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance including operations support
- Programmable Automation System (PAS) Infrastructure management
- Provide input to process control network topology and architecture design, specification, configuration, testing, start-up, and system support
- Manage the site automation disaster recovery plan
- Review, test, and deploy migrations to the Operating Systems
- Perform Control system configuration in support of the Applications Engineering team including Regulatory Control, Advanced Regulatory Control, Advanced Process Control, Graphics and Alarm management
- Maintain System documentation in accordance with engineering deliverables and team procedures
