AGM - Merchandising & Supply Chain Management - Textile/Garments

The role is highly challenging and thus requires a very committed and target driven approach to fulfill the following work responsibilities to achieve the desired expectations:

KEY ROLE :

Ensure Supply Rate of 99% by undertaking various activities :

- Planning the production taking into consideration constraints if any.
 
- Providing Fab/Acc requirements and follow ups

- Coordinate with internal dept - cutting, QA, sales support, warehouse, etc to ensure no bottle necks and smooth supply

- To ensure vendor (manufacturing) base as per projected demand

- Manage vendors on various parameters - lead time, wip stocks, quality, material accountability, bills, payments and any other issues

- Periodical monitoring reports - daily/weekly/monthly and escalation of any issues to suitable authorities to ensure the goal of 99% supply rate.

Process oriented / Product Development :

- Develop/prepare samples as per market trends

- Pattern and size specs verification of all new styles

- Preparing and maintaining cost sheet for price finalization

SKILL SET :

Technical Skills :

- Excellent planning skills - preferably good in lean concepts

- Good knowledge about various stages of garmenting from fabric to apparels,

- Various methods of cutting and ensuring maximum fabric efficiency

- Working on SMV based garmenting concepts to keep costs rational

- Good knowledge about fabric making from yarn to fabrics

Personal Skills :

- Managing team towards the company goals

- Coordination with internal departments towards achievement of goals

- Vendor coordination and management skills towards benefit of company

- Honesty, Integrity

- Bargaining/Deal making skills for sourcing

- Problem Solving, Decision making

Other skills :

- Good at excel, data analysis

- working knowledge of ERP- SAP

- Languages - Tamil, English, Hindi

KPI (KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS) : 

- Ensure Supply Rate 99%

- Minimal stock in supply chain - warehouse/vendors as per guidelines

- Quality to maintain between A+/A rating

- New products as per market trends

THOSE HAVING HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH PROVEN COMPETENCE FROM INNER WEAR / UNDER GARMENT INDUSTRY / PRODUCTS WOULD ONLY BE CONSIDERED.

ALSO WILLINGNESS TO RELOCATE TO TIRUPPUR IS A MUST. IMMEDIATE JOINING WOULD BE PREFERABLE.
