Department / Division: Legal - Someone who has worked in Retail or worked with Malls - Should be confident and presentable - Good on Comm. skills - Should be well versed with Compliance/Due diligence - Should have experience handling litigation/Non litigation matters - Good at drafting/vetting of agreements as all this is done in-house - Both male or female candidates can be considered - 10-12 years of total experience, and at least 8 years in the infrastructure development industry - At least 6-8 years experience in a leading law firm Special Attributes: - Knowledge of legal administration, especially contract related matters relating to properties - Exposure in drafting agreements like Development, Sale, Lease, Leave and License, etc. - Understanding of Statutory/Regulatory Compliance Management - Well versed with Land Laws/Transfer of Property Act, Contract Act, Partnership Act, Company Law etc. - Good drafting and negotiation skills Overall Purpose/Objective of the job - Lead the Legal function for a project/centre by identifying, anticipating and mitigating legal risk; providing legal support to the senior management from the project concept stage to operations
