Qualification, Age & Experience: - MSW - HR / MBA - HR / MA - PM & IR - Should be strong in labour laws. - Age : Below 45 Years - Client is an Equal Opportunity Employer. - Candidate with ex-serviceman background can also apply - 10 - 15 years of hands on Experience in HR & IR in a manufacturing Plant. - Preference will be given to those who have worked in a Multinational Company - Should have worked in an Unionized Environment. - Should be currently working either as a Plant HR head / Dy.HR head of the Plant. - The role holder reports to the Director HR & Plant Head - Ability to Speak fluently in Tamil is essential. Roles & Responsibilities : - Effective Implementation of People agenda at the Plant. - Implement initiatives to maintain employee productivity and performance excellence - Achieve budgetary objectives by maintaining appropriate levels of HR service delivery. - Deploy HR shared service delivery Model in support of HR Transnational Goals. - Assess current and future talent requirements of the plant which impacts achievement of annual business objectives. - Develop & implement a resourcing plan for the plant and drive the selection process. - Support the assessment and capability building of the employees at the plant. - Implementation of HR initiatives like Talent Management, PMS, Reward and recognition, Employee policies, Training and development initiatives at the plant. - Educate plant management in development and implementation of required programs and processes to drive a positive work environment through plant management and supervisors. - Ensure Positive work environment at Workplace. - Resolves employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner that recognizes employee needs and protects the needs of the plant to operate in an effective and efficient manner. - Should have hands on experience in dealing with Contract labours and the Unions. - Ensure 100% compliance with labour law requirements and local, state, and federal employment laws. - Impart adequate knowledge of labour laws to the line managers. - Lead and support the Compliance certification process at the plant and make it robust to provide positive assurance by supporting open and proactive reporting of non-compliance. - Guide and lead self-verification audits at the plant pertaining to labour law compliance. - Implement sustainable employee relation practices at the shop Floor.
