Job Description

As a Team leader the role is expected to drive a team of Engineers in day to day tasks, coaching in technical topics, provide right direction, result oriented and responsible to deliver the tasks as per the customer expectation as a team. Will ensure team results and performance fits the project plan and quality expectations. Motivates the team, on-boards new team members, provides feedback on team and individual performance, coach team members, identify training needs while inspiring collaboration, leads change and drives for results.

Core Responsibilities -

- Lead the Engineering team for various Electrification services in fields of e-Drive, Control Units, Embedded SW, IOT etc. (Product development, System Development and Integration etc.)

- Provide technical leadership to the Engineering team for establishing and sustaining system Engineering competency

- Define the roadmap for India specific requirements with Product management and customer key Account leaders for definition of product strategy and customer strategy

- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and support competency build up in these areas for handling Electrification business in India

- Team talent development, managing headcount, workload and training needs

- Plan and conduct performance reviews, establish goals, one on one, provide feedback, mentoring and coaching

- Interface with Global product teams for e-Drive, Electronics, Embedded SW etc.

- Support acquisition of OEM customer projects and participate in projects for EV component and system development

- Responsible for technical deliveries for Electrification customer projects

- Coordinate local effort with status reporting on resource utilization and efficiency
