Responsibilities:-
- Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers
- Within the SBU- s, responsible for leading capability building in Demand Planning and Demand Forecasting and Supply Chain Management.
- Benchmarks industry and company best practices and working in close collaboration with the Sales Leadership Team, Marketing, Category teams, Production planning and Procurement, Supply chain teams and FP&A teams.
- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements
- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs
- Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes in potential new warehouse facilities and recommend of cost implications and efficiency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies.
- Interpret trends and analyze and review data. Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organization to aid customer service and cost improvements
. Ensure the finished goods are supplied in respective sales channels in given time.
Job knowledge:
- Should have 6 to 12 years of experience of handling end to end Demand Planning, Supply Chain / Logistics operations.Channel management, Demand Planning, Import logistics, Logistics, Supply Planning, Distribution.
Qualification:
Engineering + MBA from a premier institute
