Education Qualification:

1. Engineer + PG in Ops ( NITIE / SP Jain / IIT SOM preferred

2. Worked in procurement of plastics & Metals

3. 9-15 years experience.

Location: Anywhere in West India.

Job Scope includes Direct & Indirect items procurement & Inbound-stores management within factory

Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring Material availability on a daily basis : Tracking through the availability metrics and improving the same

2. Component-wise Detailed Costing Models : Maintenance and application to negotiate prices

3. Monitoring Market Indices relevant to Components of Procurement & apply the same for price controls

4. Review SAP PO Execution

5. Ensuring Quality of components under rejection with CAPAs & Disciplinary actions on suppliers

6. Planning & Scheduling Imported components

7. NPD Components Development

8. Driving Cost Reduction Projects

9. Monitoring Suppliers Capacity to VIP Demand & Securing appropriate vendors headspace

10. Stores Inventory management : Physical Stocks to SAP Stocks Variance to be maintained at the lowest level possible

11. FIFO of stocks issuance from stores & Reducing the nonmoving inventory

12. Ensuring compliance in the scrap sales process

13. Managing Inbound transportation contracts

14. Conduct Reverse Auctions

15. Negotiate with vendors offline wherever needed

16. Develop new vendors for cost reduction, quality improvement and NPDs

17. Publishing the commodity price changes to management at various frequencies of time

18. Team Management, Coaching
