AGM/DGM - Mechanical Engineering

Looking for a professional with 15+ years of work experience in Manage and direct the companies technical department and activities in an effective and costs efficient manner with due regard for safety, quality and productivity. Directly responsible for all technical activities including container handling equipment, personnel transport and company's motor pool. The function requires the ability to direct and manage a department (50+ Staff) according to the guidelines and policies set by management.

- Container background is a must.

Job description.

- Managing and instructing all technical personnel in daily activities

- Ensure maximum availability of the container handling equipment

- Ensure economic, efficient and productive utilization of the departments sections, equipment and manpower

- Identifying and developing the departments technology and training requirements

- Set and maintain performance criteria for reporting staff

- Draft and implement the departments technical procedures and policies

- Ensure safe working conditions in accordance with the company's policies and procedures
