The incumbent will be responsible for the overall SBU Manufacturing Digital Initiatives. The position will report to IT Head with a dotted line reporting to SBU's Manufacturing Head. The role will be expected to liaise with the Company's Manufacturing teams, external implementation partners and senior management to ensure all Digital Initiatives are delivered to the highest standards Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic - Identify opportunities to improve and automate manufacturing business processes by using latest technology - Proactively suggest the best practices on Digital Manufacturing, which can be adopted in Company - Lead, develop/implement manufacturing digital initiatives that enable Company to compete more vigorously and more profitably 2. Operational - Take full responsibility for leadership and management of SAP functional and technical work streams. - Ensuring that team members understand their roles and requirements. - Responsible for Project planning, Control & monitoring, Progress reporting to the Head IT and key business stakeholders. Project Risk and issue management - Oversee and drive change management and be a custodian of continuous improvement regarding SAP programme and project delivery. - Identify and have a good working relationship with all stakeholders and business users involved within various related SAP focused programs and projects. - Work closely with the departments Project Managers, supporting with tasks as required and ensuring successful delivery of SAP projects. - Oversee the activities of other colleagues in the different aspects of the programme /project, including testing and training support. - Support and coach team members through the programme and project processes. - Overseeing and supporting the wider Project Managers, with quality gate processes to ensure that deliverables and the projects stay on track and to budget ensuring business goals are met. 3. Financial Project Cost &amp; Budget Management Desired Candidate Profile - Graduate / PG in Engg or IT - 14-15 yrs of total experience with atleast 6-8 yrs of experience in IT projects in Manufacturing domain - Candidates with prior experience in technical dept in Process Manufacturing industry will be preferred. - Prior experience in Process Mfg industry like chemical, pharma, cement paints will be preferred. - Candidates from DCS service providers will also be considered. - Should have executed/delivered at least one MES project with analytical dashboards and visualizations - Should have good understanding of the Manufacturing Industry processes, shop floor activities - Should have working knowledge on integration of manufacturing equipment, sensors, load cells, flow meters to DCS system - Understands different kinds of maintenance activities/strategies in manufacturing setup - preventive, predictive, breakdown etc - Should have worked on tools to draw key MIS on manufacturing equipment which can help them optimize the maintenance costs - Should have sound knowledge on Industry 4.0 concepts - Should have sound knowledge on Internet of Things - Project Management. PMP certification preferred - Have an understanding/experience IT Infrastructure, databases, web systems structure - Ability to define, simplify, standardize processes and implement best practices - Proactive thinking and ability to work with multiple stakeholders - Excellent communication skills - Well organized, highly system and process-oriented approach - Good business partner with customer orientation. - Self-starter who can manage a range of competing priorities and projects. - Ability to question status quo and bring in best in class practices. - Ability to inspire and rally team around business objectives and excellence - Should be comfortable to speak in Hindi. - Candidates willing to relocate to Ankleshwar may only apply - Perks and Benefits - Best in the Industry
