Corporate Safety Manager : Corporate Safety Head is responsible to monitor, implement and improve the safety initiatives support all corporate group safety initiates.
Job Responsibility ?
- Ensure all safety corporate initiatives and guidelines are implemented with a goal to reach zero accidents/incidents.
- Required to visit abroad once in 2 months as needed and each visit to stay 7 to 10days to ensure the following .
- Assisting in Fixing annual safety target and objectives by benchmarking with other company's best practices and performances.
- To support the safety teams both Corporate, and plant safety team in their function
- Coordination with Plant heads for the effective implementation of all corporate safety initiatives
- To review the Plant risk and developing objectives to mitigate the risk through management system and improvement plan.
- Ensure safety risk studies and its recommendations are implemented.
- Developing the field safety management system to the international level ? refer the international practices
- Ensure plant wise CAPA follow-up and effective closeout.
- Responsible for corporate documentation related to Safety
- To impart training and to coordinate Safety training programs.
- To follow-up on safety related pending jobs in the units
- Identify the areas for improvement and follow up with necessary actions
- To develop safety manuals, standards and guidelines.
- To perform required safety inspections, audit, survey and report it
- Preparing and assisting monthly safety reporting of group
- Supporting Safety studies and Audit
- Project safety Management and defining the contract safety requirements
- Responsible for the project safety management
- Transport safety improvement
- Corporate safety head observations and its follow-up
- Coordinating and conducting Group Safety Audit
- Preparing Monthly safety report
- Organizing the safety meeting, safety events and for the Group
Qualification : Chemical Engineer / Diploma or MSc Chemistry: RLI / M.E Safety / Safety Degree or diploma additional
Experiences : 15 - 20 years with Chemical Industry experience of 10-15 years and experience in Corporate Safety function: 3-5 years
