Primary Responsibilities :
1. Oversee and Manage the Accounts AP - AR- GL, Taxation- Direct and Indirect, and Statutory Compliances
2. Setting, running and ensuring operational efficiency of division by monitoring and analyzing variance
3. Good Exp in Budgeting, Planning, CASH Flow, Fund Flow, Variance Analysis and Accounts Finalizations
4. Ensuring appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
5. Checking and verification of all types of PO, Invoices and Vendor payments relating to material received/dispatched
6. Verifying financial transactions done in ERP and reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
7. Preparation of Costing, Budgeting and operational Statements and other related activities.
8. Closure of books on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Participation in finalization of accounts and coordinate with Internal and Statutory Auditors.
9. Overlooking compliance related to various direct and indirect taxes including excise
10. Overlooking filing of returns and GST payment. Checking eligibility of input tax credit and assessing GST liability of various transactions
11. Preparation of periodical MIS reports and competitor/Industry mapping
12. Identify and recommend various cost optimization and strategic ideas.
13. Set up budgets, Cash Flow-Fund Flow, preparation of stock statement and reconciliation to ensure monitoring
14. Responsible for inter-unit reconciliation activities and coordinate with various consultants, agencies, stakeholders, associates for filing of statutory returns.
15. Guiding, mentoring and developing team under
Knowledge & Skills required :
1. Chartered accountant/Experience professional with minimum 10 years of work experience, preferably from Distillery or allied industries
2. Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills
3. Analytical mindset with ability to analyze and interpret data
4. Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
