AGM - Coal Trading

Position : AGM - Coal Trading

Department : Coal SBU

Location : Delhi

Role :

To support in the establishment of Coal Trading portfolio of Group by marketing in the open market in India.

Key Accountabilities :

- Support in Establishing Coal Trading Operations in domestic market.

- Marketing of Coal from Long Term CSA signed with Group Indonesia Partner Golden Energy Mines by continuous customer intelligence management to make sales more effective and competitive.

- Business Development Identifying business opportunities with domestic coal buyers, bids and ensuring winning of bids for short/long term coal supplies including negotiations.

- Take responsibility in Technical/Commercial/Shipping/Logistics related aspects during execution of sales contracts up to settlement of all dues and fulfillment of all commitments under the contract.

- Coal Trading Operations Contract compliance, end to end execution of the imported coal procurement and trade contracts. Ensure margins and take necessary steps to mitigate risks.

- Advising on the hedging strategies on price risk of coal positions for trading in domestic market.

External Interactions Internal Interactions :

- Coal Buyers - Large international coal trading houses and independent power producers, cement plants, paper plants, sugar plants etc. - SBU Heads, Plant Heads, Finance Heads and Commercial Head.

Dimensions :

Financial Dimensions : Budgets- To follow the board approved budgets without any cost overrun

Other Dimensions : Interpersonal skills to develop a healthy rapport with all the finance heads including other stake holders and business heads.

Skills & Knowledge :

Educational Qualification : Graduation with MBA - from Similar roles in Coal Trading Houses with a strong acumen for commercial and finance matters.

Relevant & Total years of Experience : 12-15 years of experience in similar Function in Coal Trading Industry
