Role Manager - Business Development

Department : Warehousing

Designation : Manager / Sr. Manager

JD :

- Plan, prepare and meet customers who have business in the warehousing vertical and get them on board

- Ensure commercials are clearly agreed and accepted by customer and upload SOP in e- room

- Follow-up with customers for payments. Ensure that all invoices are submitted and approved by customer before due date so that payment can be cleared within credit period.

- Delivering the budgeted GP every month.

- Sorting out customer related issues / handling escalations

- Source sales leads from manifest and in house

- Share with senior team the monthly progress

Should Have :

1. Should have good knowledge of the 3PL industry and market conditions.

2. Should have good knowledge of cost parameters in warehousing.

3. Should be able to grow a strong and continuous pipeline of customers.

4. Should have good communication & presentation skills.

5. Ensure closure / business win.

6. Should have a good understanding of solution design.

CANDIDATES SPECIFICATIONS :

Age : 26 to 32 yrs.

Education Qualification : Preferably a Post Graduate with specialization in Supply Chain

Experience : 5 years

Industry Preference : 3PL
