Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all financial and accounting activities.

This role is critical to ensure the financial health of the organization, implementing best practices in financial management, and supporting strategic decision-making as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes and provide variance analysis.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and manage external audits.

- Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize financial accuracy and minimize risk.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support business growth.

- Manage the accounting team and support talent development within the finance function.

- Oversee cash flow, treasury, and banking relationships.

- Evaluate and improve accounting systems, tools, and procedures.

- Support fundraising, investor relations, and financial modeling, if applicable.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).

- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient in financial software systems QuickBooks.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
