Refund Processing - Associate

We are looking for Associate to support Refund Processing process for our Client support team.

Key responsibilities of the position include verification that the customer's money has indeed entered the company's accounts and refund has been cleared by higher management. There are procedural accounting reversals as well which required further approvals are in a corporate accounting system.

Location: Mumbai

Work Timing - 01:00 PM to 10:00 PM (3:30 AM to 12:30 PM EST)

Job Description and Requirements :

Job Description :

- Process the sales approved refund requests by checking accounting system.

- Ensure that the sale has been consummated; refund request is made within prescriptive period.

- Ensure that the refunds have been approved properly.

- Ensure recording of fund reversal entries in the company's accounting ledgers.

- Identifying and resolving customer billing issues

- Process billing refunds with the goal of account accuracy and customer satisfaction with every encounter.

- Process customer credits; keep customer satisfaction high through timely issuance of customer refunds

- Manage the workflow of customer chargebacks, ensuring they are addressed by the required response time.

- Develop and maintain detailed chargeback reporting that allows for trend analysis.

- Identify and collaborate with other departments to enact changes that will reduce the overall chargeback rate.

- Adherence to write-off policies, refund policies and other accounts receivable policies as outlined.

- Good skill in resolving queries from clients

Job Requirements :

- Demonstrates clear verbal and written communication skills.

- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and efficient at multi-tasking with adjustable priorities.

- Strong IT skills, with specific expertise using excel & Working Knowledge of Great Plains - ERP

- Demonstrates a proactive - can-do- attitude and a proven background in exceptional customer service.

- Demonstrates commitment to quality in all aspects of work, despite a heavy workload and time pressures.

Qualification/ Skills :

- M.Com/ MBA in Finance & Accounting with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.

- Ability to communicate with On-site team members/ Internal and external customers.
