Aeries Technology - Assistant Manager - Payroll (7-12 yrs)
We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator to support Hire to Retire (Payroll) process for our Client supporting role.
Key responsibilities of the position include processing/collecting timesheets, updating payroll records, co-ordinating with various vendors and answering employee questions about payments. Ultimately, as a team, you- ll ensure employees are compensated correctly & on time and related statutory compliances are taken care off.
Location: Mumbai
Work Timing - 01:00 PM to 10:00 PM (3:30 AM to 12:30 PM EST)

- Acting as the main point of contact with external payroll providers.
- Review of externally prepared payroll files and reconciliation to inputs.
- Ensuring payment of payroll and payroll related taxes and other costs by relevant deadlines.
- Administrative tasks - e.g. Payslips, year-end tax certificates and close monitoring of payroll mailboxes and action of items requiring attention.
- Dealing with ad hoc queries from employees and external providers.
- Working closely with the Regional HR departments.
- Responsible for monitoring various payroll allowances across regions.
- Quarterly commissions data analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal laws and regulations
- Create custom reports from US and CAD payroll systems (ad hoc)
- Update payroll manuals as needed
- Calculating commissions accurately and on time
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in payroll administration and accounting required.
- Experience with multiple payrolls across a variety of countries.
- Demonstrates clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and efficient at multi-tasking with adjustable priorities.
- Strong IT skills, with specific expertise using excel.
- Demonstrates a proactive - can-do- attitude and a proven background in exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrates commitment to quality in all aspects of work, despite a heavy workload and time pressures.
Qualification/ Skills:
- AM - MBA/Post graduate in Finance & Accounting with 7+ years of experience.
- Ability to communicate with On-site team members/ Internal and external customers.
