Aegon Life - Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President - IT Audits & Compliance

Description:

This role is responsible for managing overall compliance of IT function with different regulatory and other standard frameworks. Role demands detailed and updated understanding for various IT frameworks, regulatory controls, and global best practices.

Shall be single point contact to coordinate for all audits (Internal/External), manage documentation and ensure all compliances are in place for IT department with best of governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for setting up Internal IT governance framework and drive it on regular basis.

- Hands on experience for verification of technical gaps and direct concerned IT team for action.

- Maintain centralized dashboard for various activities progress and highlight key concerns on timely manner.

- Responsible for updating controls based on changes in policy/framework.

- Keep close observation for any new notification, guidelines released by IRDA or any other regulatory body applicable.

- Coordinate for yearly calendar of various audits, forecast bandwidth requirements for different functions in IT team, put up activity charter to help in planning audit coordination.

- Interpret various audit observations, discuss with respective audit teams/auditors, own the action as single point contact from IT side and drive the compliance by coordinating with different functional teams within IT.

- Conduct gap assessment and drive IT teams to fill the gaps in timely manner.

Requisites:

Experience:

- BE/ B.Tech In Comps/M.Sc (IT)BSC with 15 + years

- 12 to 15 years of total work experience out of which minimum 10 years of work experience in the Insurance sector.

- Should have worked as Internal Auditor or coordinated with external audit agencies for various audit certification.

- Prior experience of working in IT function shall be preferred.

Domain Expertise:

- Should have worked in BFSI sector for managing compliance and audit requirements.

- Experience in Life insurance industry will be preferred.

- Should have handled different audit in past such as, ISNP, Information and Cyber Security Audit, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ITIL, CMMI.

Technical Expertise:

- Service delivery tools such as Symphony summit etc.

- Bug tracking tools such as JIRA

- Should be well versed with different areas of IT infra such as network (LAN/WAN), firewall, proxy, DNS,DHCP, SIEM, SOC, VDI, AV, DLP tools etc.

- Should be well versed with agile software development methodologies.

- Should have a basic understanding of API based architecture, microservices, SOA etc.

- Should have handled audit for cloud-based infrastructure (AWS).

- Should have basic understanding about different control framework which may have impact on IT for e.g GDPR, Aadhaar etc.
