Aegon Life - Assistant Manager - Finance & General Ledger Controls (2-3 yrs)
KEY PURPOSE :
- Ensure end to end accounting cycle of Life Insurance Business such as proper accounting of Insurance technical accounts like Premium, Commission, Claims etc
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Being part of Finance & Accounts team where work would consist of ensuring end to end accounting of Life Insurance Business.
- Ensuring adequate checks and controls over Life Insurance technical accounts like Premium, Commission and Claims.
- Ensure timely closure of month end activities.
- Active Support in closure of Audits of above accounting area.
- Assist in Reconciliation of various Control accounts in General Ledger.
- Assist in data preparation for IRDA reporting requirement.

- Ability to take ownership and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to adhere & deliver in time lines
Profile :
- Candidate having 2-3 years of experience in GL accounting in Insurance Sector with good exposure in auditing / accounting during article-ship period.
- Expert knowledge of Ms Excel
