Advantage One Tax Consulting - Head - Business Operations

- Advantage One Tax Consulting, Inc. (AO Tax) is a full service tax consulting firm offering tax return preparation, tax planning, tax compliance, accounting, bookkeeping, business advisory, business incorporation, and payroll. We offer services to a wide variety of clients ranging from individuals to small to medium-sized businesses since 2003.

- Based out of Fairfax, VA with an operations center in Hyderabad, India, AO Tax has successfully filed over 300K tax returns for Indian IT professionals in USA in the past 18 years.

- We are currently looking to hire a Head of Operations for our India operations center based out of Hyderabad. The Head of Operations will shoulder the following key responsibilities:

The Role :

- Build and lead tax operations team which scales to hundreds of associates and team leads prior to the beginning of each US tax season.

- Build and lead a high performing sales team to engage existing customer base and also aggressively increase the market footprint by expanding to newer target demographics within the US.

- Drive Robotic Process Automation Program.

- Handle & streamline customer communications via multiple channels leading to more effective customer engagement.

- Monitor 24x7 tax filing success rates across various client bases.

- Build sales pipeline, forecasting and making sure the team meets or exceeds monthly revenue targets

- Manage upscaling and downscaling of teams in an agile manner based on the tax on/off seasons.

- Manage employee attrition and also retention of high performing employees.

- Be responsible for the overall business performance (products, revenue, and profitability) of the company including the short-term and long-term performance of all product segments; achieve/exceed all revenue and growth objectives.

- Develops and establishes operating policies consistent with the management's broad policies and objectives and insures their adequate execution. Appraises and evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically, and reports these results to the CEO.

Qualifications:

- 15+ years of experience in managing large teams preferably in a BPO environment

- Prefer professionals with significant experience in leadings teams for US based outbound sales processes.

- Demonstrated ability to build, train, guide and motivate teams.

- MBA from a Premier institute / Chartered accountant preferred

- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence diverse teams.

- Hands-on experience developing and driving programs or projects with tight schedules and multiple dependencies

- Understanding of operational risk and an ability to develop solutions mitigating the same

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
