Job Description -

- The job holder is responsible for planning maintenance of Supermarket stores in all aspects within given budget & norms in zones .


- She/he also needs to analyse & explore scope for cost saving manage the store modifications along with Maintaining & managing assets/equipments in the Stores in an orderly fashion at the local level. This role is also responsible for ensuring zero downtime of equipments.


- Repairs and Maintenance Planning for all the stores in the region.


- R&M process & budget


- Project Asset Management


- People Management


- Repairs and Maintenance Planning for all the stores in the region:

- Ensure store satisfaction of R&M - for AMC Equipment (Chillers, Freezers, AC, DG)

- To ensure equipment uptime is measured through SOP Audit (R&M Section score

- Directs and coordinates activities of technicians/engineers engaged in installation, maintenance and repair of machines, equipment, fixtures and utility systems and ensures that troubleshooting is done as and when required.

- Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.

- Develops and tracks preventive maintenance activities in conjunction with maintenance staff.

- Ensure annual maintenance contracts to prolong Equipment life.

- Ensures that there is fire safety and emergency preparedness, Electrical Safety, General Safety.

- Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to minimize utility costs, and effect greater utilization of available resources.

- Prepares department budget and monitors expenditure of funds in budget

- Managing Vendors / Technicians for smooth functioning of Store equipments.

R&M process & budget :

- Adherence to financial process and ensuring quarterly reco with vendors - rating given by Commercial Head

- To adhere to MJP-monthly journey plan

- Ensure R&M portal-daily update with the required details

- Ensure R&M expenses within the budget

- Ensure store utility cost is within the budget.

- To ensure the implementation of safety agenda as per the plan

Project Asset Management:

- To ensure asset management and immediate disposal of scrap if any.

- Achieve usage of close store material for new stores/ex stores.

People Management:

- Ensuring availability of maintenance resources at regional Level

- Responsible for team member- s Goal setting, skill gap analysis and motivation in the region.

- Ensure clear communication of all company objectives to the members of the team and ensure that their concerns are heard to and promptly acted upon in the region.

Qualifications

B.E in Electrical/Mechanical

Masters will be added advantage

Reports to: Deputy General Manager
