Description


KRA 1:

- Commercial Control (PAN India)

- Monitor implementation of accounting policies, guidelines and accounting standards

- Prepare standardized contracts for each nature of contract-

KRA 2:

Legal and Contingent Liability:

- Ensure appropriate legal review of contracts and solicit external legal advice, as required

- PAN India basis tracking and continuous review of contingent liabilities; ensure necessary legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions

- Vetting of related legal transactions and documents to safeguard Companys interest

- Track legal RONAZNAMA / C-track in view of legal cases / contingent liabilities for maintaining status of legal cases by and against the Company-

KRA 3 :

SAP and Other Initiatives :

- Coordinate with SAP team for development of user friendly reports; analyze and review reporting requirements, take up automation of same and ensure optimum utilization of new reporting systems

KRA 4:

SEZ Documentation -

- Ensure adherence to necessary guidelines for export and deemed export transactions by Zones with respect to various government benefit schemes

KRA 5:

Statutory Review and Compliance :

- Co-ordinate with Zones for periodical review of customer master data and records, information of PAN, VAT number etc. and provide information about missing / incorrect number for provision / rectification of the same

- PAN India monitoring of pending C forms, ARE-1, MRP bags supply in Non trade / Key Segments to avoid any non compliance of SOP and follow up with respective Zones to ensure adherence to guidelines

- Co-ordinate with CFD, compile and review of all details regarding Excise investigation (DGCEI) and submit to Excise department

- Ensure adherence to Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) in all concerned areas; make efforts to review SOPs on a timely basis and suggest areas of improvements accordingly

- Review and finalize replies to SCN of Service tax and Excise notices, notices received from government authorities, for filing by respective Zones

- Take necessary action to ensure timely updates in SAP on changes / amendments in statutory laws such as changes in VAT, Excise, Service tax, Income tax, Sales tax and other allied laws; provide information regarding the changes to all stakeholders

- Ensure necessary communication with various consultants for seeking legal opinions for indirect / direct tax, VAT and all other applicable laws-

KRA 6 :

System Review and Internal Control :

- Ensure that proper action is taken and replies to internal auditors as well as to Management are provided

- Co-ordinate with Zones for implementation of internal audit recommendations, as applicable, and ensure strict adherence to the same; take corrective action for major highlighted areas in consultation with Management

- Co-ordinate with Zones to ensure system reviews, compliance with Management guidelines on PAN India basis and adherence of internal control systems

- Regular visits to Plants / Depots / Godowns to ensure adherence to Company policies, processes and guidelines


Qualifications - Chartered Accountant


Experience Level - 9 - 12 Years
