Job Responsibilities

- Development of an annual audit program applying a risk-based approach to the review of the systems and controls.

- To manage the co-sourcing arrangement with the external auditors as required.

- Serve as a liaison between the internal and external audit team and review test findings, facilitate the remediation of control gaps, and escalate possible critical issue to the senior management of the company

- Discuss the findings of audit reviews with management on a constructive basis in order to develop the most appropriate, proportionate solutions to issues arising.

- Perform ad hoc investigations and reviews at the request of the Audit Committees.

- Plan and conduct audit to assess controls, operational and technical efficiencies and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

- To provide an independent challenge to the business view of risk as articulated via the framework.

- Assist in conducting periodic training workshops to promote awareness of internal controls and discuss changes in policies that will impact the Organization.

- Driving continuous improvement and implementation of Global Best Practices in Internal Audit and Risk.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Must be a CA

- Should have handled internal audit function for at least 5 years

- Overall Experience:- 10 - 12 years

- Must have worked in the Retail / FMCG sector

- Working knowledge of specific IT packages (SAP, ORACLE, etc.)

- Thorough understanding of the principles and application of good corporate governance, business and operational risk and control processes and procedures.

- Developed investigative skills

- Self-Starter with attention to detail

- Strong influencing and negotiation skills

- Ability to handle pressure

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
