Minimum Qualification Required- Chartered Accountant(ICAI) Job Context & Major Challenges 1. Budgetary Control: a) Monitoring of Capital Expenditure at Showroom and General level. b) Responsible and Timely Creation of Projects and enabling new store opening for capex activity c) Monitoring & Analysis of available budget, budget surrender to spend in another project and carry forward to spend in current period. d) Monitoring of open commitments and follow up, for unspent capex amount. 2. Approval and Accounting: a) Approval of timely accounted capex bills by post verification of BOQ's and signed rate contract. b) Ensuring and approval of payment release as per policy to maintain the Working capital and based on agreed payment terms. c) Responsible and ensuring deduction and recovery of Non-performing and time exceeding Revenue loss for showroom opening (Capex) d) Ensuring timely accounting of sale of fixed assets by generation of revenue as per COA, and ensuring of collection for the same. e) Ensuring timely capitalization and updating fixed asset register which will help calculating accuracy in depreciation on Profit and Loss. 3. Finalization of Accounts: a) Owing and control on fiscal year management - Opening and closing of fiscal year to calculate financial depreciation for future period. b) Review of GL's accounts and clearing of control accounts to create transparency in the books c) Responsible on depreciation run as per Companies act & Income Tax act d) Analysis of provisional depreciation and other provision, Ensure to passing provision if required additionally. e) Review and timely submission of MIS as prescribed format by the management, to take decision and action. 4. Business Process Reengineering: a) Self-Driving Business Process Reengineering with the help of External partner (DMS, IT and SAP) to smooth deliveries in line with. b) Testing of current process and evaluating new or improved processes for better efficiency by eliminating bottlenecks in the current process. c) IFC-Study operational controls and come up with recommend actions to rationalize the number of controls to move from manual to automated control. d) Establish and revisit SOP & Policy for all process. 5. Customer Centricity: a) Ensuring periodical balance confirmation rollout and reconciliation of books of accounts b) Ensuring accuracy in the master data maintained at SAP c) Ensuring on time providing with details and resolving the queries of Customers / Vendors. 6. Liaison with Statutory and Internal Auditors:- a) Ensuing to provide the Audit schedule to auditors on timely manner to close the audit as per schedule time, b) Responsible to share the schedule as per revised schedule III format and ensuring the correctness. c) Ensuring to incorporate revised Schedule-II of Companies act 2013 on Depreciation. d) Ensuring to provide tax audit depreciation as per Income Tax Act 1961. Key Result Areas: Key Result Areas Supporting Actions - Ensuring all capitalization as per policy timeline Coordinate with CPC, Admin & commercial team for addressing capitalization gap - Audit management Addressing all open issues with the help of stakeholders to avoid audit query - Vendor payment management Ensure that vendor invoices are submitted as per timeline by coordination with the respective stakeholders - Query management Resolving all open queries with the help of stakeholders - Physical verification of asset Ensuring all asset are there correct location
