ADF - General Manager - Works (25-30 yrs)
To direct, manage and coordinate all activities associated with manufacturing, maintenance, quality control and materials management.
Leading complete operations of Nadiad units, including Planning, Scheduling, Driving & Monitoring the Production, and Quality, Cost, Delivery, New Product Development, Safety, People Morale, Capacity enhancement, Optimal Infra utilization and Productivity improvement.
Over seeing Sinnar- Nasik factory operations related to Production improvement, increase in production capacity upgradations of facility.
1) Lead the production team, guide and run Food Safety programs to meet customer requirements:
A. Looking for ways to improve production capacity and efficiency and reduce production costs.
B. Getting directly involved in all processes and engineering work in the factory. This includes plant improvement, new projects or expansion projects
C. Control of the plant maintenance, machinery and inventory, and implement programs to these functions.
D. To organize timely submission of reports pertaining to production, and inventory, as required by the head office.
E. Accountable for ensuring that progress & cost control strategies are in place and acted upon according to the priorities.
F. To implement the requirements of the FSSAI and Global Standard for Food Safety and processes to facilitate continual improvement of Food Safety and Quality management.
2) Achieve production targets to meet timely deliveries of orders:
A. Production planning and scheduling in order to best meet order requirements. This includes working closely with the marketing department at Head office on all customer orders in order to achieve timely deliveries.
B. Controlling inventory of all raw materials, packing material, and finished goods. This includes working with Purchasing Department on raw material requirements
C. Controlling the production process to maximize production efficiency while meeting standard operating procedures, finished products quality standards and specifications adhering to the companys quality assurance policy.
D. Coordinating closely with the quality assurance and quality control department, as well as the Production managers, for routine Production to achieve company goal.
E. Actively cooperating with R&D team to develop new products and coordinating with HO for special R& D projects.
F. Ensuring that stocks of raw materials, seasonal fruits and vegetables are timely procured and maintained in accordance with projections given by Head office.
3) Managing Labour (including contract labour) for production:
A. Supervise, control, and delegate job functions for all production, store, and maintenance staff. This includes maintain staff discipline, evaluate staff performance, and organize necessary staff training.
B. Following all factory safety regulations accordingly and ensure that staff are trained to abide by these safety requirements.
C. Managing Labour (including contract labour), dealing with service providing agencies.
4) General Management:
A. Maintenance of factory building and surrounding area.
B. Ensuring the cleanliness and housekeeping of the factory and its surroundings.
C. To ensure to reply customer complaints.
D. Ensuring All Statutory Compliance for the factory and liaising with all Government Authorities.
E. Implementation safety rules & guidelines in the manufacturing facility. Enforcing compliance with the same to eliminate happening of untoward incidents.
F. Actively involved in the planning of Preventive & regular Breakdown maintenance; analysis, modifications, Spares Planning, etc.
G. Coordinating with Head office for implementation of CSR activities.
H. Coordinate and follow ups for legal matters related to Nadiad unit.
I. Coordinating with Head Office for fund requirement.
J. Answering queries raised by Internal Auditors & Statutory Auditors
K. To develop and coordinate with Co-packers for outsourced products.
L. Any other duties that may be assigned by company from time to time.
