We are currently hiring for Head Litigation Position based at Ahmedabad location. Interested candidate who fit into following criteria can apply for the same.  Job Purpose :   Provide effectively and efficiently Legal Advice / Support to the organization in litigation matters.  Key Accountabilities :   1 Ensure strategic planning, organizing and executing the same.  2 Co-ordinate with Advocates/ Counsels and brief senior Counsels at High Court and Supreme Court and to attend, monitor and report proceedings in High Courts and Supreme Court.  3 Vetting of petition, reply, affidavit, discussion with lawyers / counsels etc. and internal business teams.  4 To closely interact with business to understand their requirement and advise on legal issues.  5 To update the legal status through Automation / Programs.  6 Responsible for all matters related to Corporate Laws, Environmental Laws & Arbitration, Contract Laws, Civil Procedure Code (including defamation matters) and Criminal Laws.  7 To keep a watch on court proceedings/matters which have bearing on company's similar matters/issues & to brief business/management.  8 To undertake legal research on on-going basis, keep updated & utilization of research work for company's similar issues/matters.  EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: LLB / LLM with sound knowledge of commercial Law  RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 16 - 20 years on litigation side at High Court and Supreme Court level and should have the relevant experience of briefing the counsels at High court and Supreme Court level. Preferably a lawyer, who wishes to join corporate, having specialization in Corporate Laws, Environmental Laws & Arbitration, Contract Laws, Civil Procedure Code (including defamation matters) and Criminal Laws.  Candidates needs to provide the data in the following format in resume :   Note   Part A:   Name of candidate  Current Company  Current Designation  Education  Total Exp.  Rel.
