The Strategy &amp; Chairman's office in USD 12bn Adani Group supports all the Group businesses and corporate service areas, addressing key areas on the agenda of Promoters and Top management. Key projects include strategic planning for both expansion of existing businesses and entry into new areas, assessing periodic business performance thru reviews with Chairman/Promoters/CXOs, managing business specific as well as Group wide common initiatives. Typical execution plan of each of these areas requires deep interaction and collaboration with senior executives across the organization. The current team consists of professionals coming from diverse background ranging from top strategy consulting firms, Financial Institutions, Conglomerates and industry. . We are seeking an enthusiastic professional with 7-10 years of post MBA experience in corporate strategy, consulting or finance. The individual should have sound problem-solving skills and one who is well experienced in stakeholder management at the senior level. The role description is provided below: - Develop and oversee Business 5 year roadmap/ strategic planning exercise - Own and drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) along with leading the Quarterly/Half Yearly and Annual reviews of the businesses with Group Chairman - Assist the Businesses in developing the Annual Budget Plan while ensuring adherence to investment principle/ operational assumptions and that learnings from previous achievement/issues are incorporated in entirety - Establish and review key strategic priorities of Chairman and translate them into actionable and quantitative plans - Periodical monitoring &amp; timely escalation to the Chairman on the action plan - Support the team in identifying new opportunities leveraging external network - Independent Evaluation of new business/ investment proposals and assist the group in decision making with initial implementation blueprint - Manage monthly monitoring of BU KPIs /dashboards that will provide valuable benchmarking for management as well as timely insights for better decision making - Any other special projects/initiatives in line with Chairman's expectations and priorities that can be implemented across the group or in any portfolio business Skill set requirements: Financial Modelling; Understanding of key financial metrics such as IRR, NPV, ROCE, in-depth understanding of Cashflow, Debt, Working Capital and their application in different business contexts; Strong presentation skills.
