Adani Group - AGM - Program Management(Large Capital Projects)

Responsible for promoting Adani Group Health & Safety Vision, Policies, Principles, Procedures and Practices, facilitating safety processes for Large Capital projects across Adani Group businesses involving management commitment & actions by providing guidelines and support on all relevant safety systems and compliances within Health & Safety and Line organization.

Key Accountabilities :

- Formulate safety processes and work methodologies for Large Capital Projects for Adani businesses by integrating Owners Responsibility concept, Front End Loading (FEL) , PSM, PSSR, etc. for successful Capital Project implementation of PMC, EPCC, EPCM modes of project.

- Develop robust Project Safety Framework at Group level by designing Safety Stage Gate process with Health & Safety minimum requirements during phases of Business planning, Facilities planning, Project Planning, Project Implementation & Facility Operation and stipulate accountabilities & responsibilities of the company's project teams, design teams, execution teams and contractor teams. Ensure dissemination of Project Safety information's to all relevant stakeholders at sites.

- Work closely with CoE Construction Safety and CoE Contractor Safety Management to undertake formal OH&S review of tenders to evaluate and verify the adequacy of Project Safety Management System with respect to Adani Group safety systems requirements.

- Ensure business are conducting pre-construction meeting with principal project partners as well as with subcontractors before the actual start of work, to ensure Capital Project needs are clearly defined and included in the deliverables of the project.

- Embed Process Safety Management (PSM) and PSSR into Capital Projects to assure a safe start-up and safe ongoing operations. Involve all key stakeholders including EPC Contractor in a Constructability Analysis during the conceptual design phase.

- Undertake measures to enhance understanding and capability of key stakeholders including contracting partners on processes of MICA, PSI, PHA, PSSR, etc. for smooth integration of Employee Safety, Process Safety, Capital Effectiveness and Asset Productivity.

- Undertake Pre-authorization reviews for evaluating design & constructability, operability and maintenance, asset integrity, etc. so that all engineering Health & Safety issues are correctly identified during design stage and safe and practical solutions are incorporated into the design specification and drawings before they are released for executing projects.

Educational Requirements & Experience :

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering with Post Graduate qualification in Health & Safety / Construction Safety Management from NICMR or any other recognized institute.

- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Project Safety Management in a large infrastructure company having managed Capex projects across multiple facilities, cultures and regulatory requirements. Project experience with exposure to Techno-commercial processes at Ports, Energy, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, etc. will be strongly preferred.

- Experience in developing, implementing and managing a Health and Safety Management System in Large Capital Projects with exposure to High Hazard processes.

- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans for large scale projects. Sound people skills with the ability to establish and build on working relationships effectively.
