Responsible for promoting Adani Group Health & Safety Vision, Policies, Principles, Procedures and Practices, facilitating deployment of Logistics & Warehousing Safety Standards at all Adani sites across Group businesses involving management commitment & actions by providing guidelines and support on all relevant safety systems and compliances within Health & Safety and Line organization.

Key Accountabilities :

- Drive Safety Championship concept to set key accountabilities in Line organization to implement Logistics & Warehousing Safety standards at different Adani business /sites; set milestones, targets & define programs for implementation; review implementation effectiveness by conducting periodical site audits and assessments.

- Assess potential risks at Logistics & Warehouse work sites and evaluate safety metric data to formulate Logistics Safety excellence framework to lead hazard/risk reduction strategies and initiatives and accountable for the development & delivery of appropriate risk management education and training at the Business/Site locations.

- Review current infrastructure challenges concerning logistics and warehouse safety and propose improvement actions and solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements to Group Level Task Force.

- Facilitate investigation of serious and High Potential incidents and dangerous occurrence related to road, vehicle & traffic safety, whenever required and make recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.

- Formulate Safety Directives on Road & Rail Safety as desired against critical safety aspects/ elements of logistics safety standards or against flagrant safety issues or other vulnerabilities for ensuring mandatory compliances by businesses.

Educational Requirements & Experience :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Full Time) with Post Graduate qualification in Health & Safety from a Government recognized institute.

- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Corporate Health and Safety Management in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or related field in a large industrial set up. National or Regional experience is strongly preferred.

- Experience in developing, implementing, and managing Health and Safety Management System in Logistics and Warehouse operations.

- Sound people skills with the ability to establish and build on working relationships effectively.

- Proven experience in leading a team of health and safety practitioners at multiple locations.
