We are an equal opportunity employer. Job Description: - Finance Director is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the financial health of the organization. He will guide the senior team on business models, strategic planning, investments and building governance mechanisms. He will also assist the management in the development of growth plans and oversee key processes in the finance and accounting department. He will report directly to the Managing Director to assists him on all strategic and tactical matters related to strategic planning, budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the financial evaluation of different functions Key Responsibilities : Strategic Responsibilities : - Assist Managing Director in development of major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for the business units - Prepare reports, which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected investments - Oversee the financial operations of the group and business units - Make all the information and analysis-ready for Managing Director to assist him in making the decision Budgeting and forecasting : - Lead finance team in preparation of guidelines and schedule for budget creation - Prepare financial year budget for organization and departments by consulting with the Managing Director and department heads - Prepare and modify the financial model to project the business growth of the organization as per feedback from executive committee and Managing Director - Monitor the cash in-flows and cash outflows and prepare periodic cash balances and cash forecast for subsidiaries - Review budget proposals and prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification Risk Management : - Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile - Monitor all open legal issues involving the company and its subsidiaries - Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements - Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies - Report risk issues to the Managing Director Cash Management : - Review and recommend limits for funds to be allocated to each department - Determine the priority of the payments, keep in consideration Company's business requirements and the availability of funds - Review all expenses for factory and all business units to make sure that it is legal, reasonable and in conformity with company policy Bank Management : - Lead and support finance team in establishing guidelines for bank account opening and closing and making signatory changes - Connect with all bank stakeholders and maintain the relationship for all credit investments via banks - Overall supervision of the issuance or receipt of bank guarantees - Monitor and ensure efficient management of the company loans and its repayment Tax and Compliance : - Develop tax strategy to maximize the cash flow of the company - Provide advisory and training to all personnel of finance and accounting department to prepare prompt VAT returns - Review and monitor the adequacy of system, records and process to ensure compliance with VAT regulations Payroll : - Lead and monitor the processing of payroll, vacation settlement and reimbursements Fixed Assets Management : - Direct the retirement/disposal and booking of fixed assets Desired candidate profile : Experience : - A minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 5 years as a finance manager with focus on budgeting planning and strategy Education : - Master degree in Commerce or Chartered Accountant from the recognized professional body - MBA finance or CFA preferred - Fluent in English and Arabic (both written and verbal) Other Requirements : - Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills - Ability to work with different environment and nationalities - Excellent planning and organizational skills - Excellent team management skills - Ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels within the organization
