We are preferring someone having 12+ years of strong Legal Research experience in a mid/large sized LPO.





Opportunity

- Acuity is in the process of establishing a legal service practice, and provide support to legal departments of our clients and law firms globally

- Looking for SMEs and business leaders, with experience in setting up processes in legal outsourcing and ability to establish and lead a new service line

- Experience in setting up/ managing client accounts/ teams is mandatory

Some of the services in scope :

- Legal research including factual research

- Drafting of Documents i.e legal briefs and memoranda

- Contracts & Agreements

- Proofreading documents

- Letters to the clients

- Patent applications

- Legal Pleadings

- Review & vetting of legal documents

- Intellectual Property legal work, substantive or administrative

- Legal analysis of issues presented by the client's set of facts

- Running company searches

- Legal Billing activities like preparation of invoices, collation of time sheets etc.

- Paralegal services

SMEs to execute and train teams on varied analysis including but not limited to :

- Drafting and reviewing of complex legal documents including emails, contracts, spreadsheets and other documents

- Review various contracts against established standards and negotiate acceptable alternatives whilst working on templates and tools

- Handling Legal Research & drafting of Legal Memorandum

- Research on legislation, regulations and other areas of law; tracking legislative actions / bills which can potentially impact the client

- Providing legal analysis of issues presented by the client's set of facts / Legal Case Analysis

- Drafting and Reviewing of various agreements, such as such as JV Agreements, Share Subscription/Share Purchase Agreement, Non-Disclosure & Confidentiality Agreement, Lease, Leave and License agreement, Power of Attorneys, Will, Deed of Conveyance, MOU, Partnership Deed, Due Diligence Report, Term Sheet to name a few
